These are highly subjective, your milage may vary: Composite Specialities - Tom was helpful and answered my questions by email promptly. Very nice shipping box! I got both the Mini Acacia and the Prodij here. Got a Bandit too! Update: I recently got an Acacia II F3F ship from Tom. It is really sweet! I am putting the installation photos here. Espen Torp/ET Air - If you want a Wizard Compact 2 Espen is your man! He is very helpful and always answers emails promptly. Be prepared to wait a bit for your dream ship though, it takes time to make something as beautiful as a Wizard. CR High Performance Aircraft - No web site but he has some great planes! Got the Fun-1 from CR for ODR slope racing. If you order, make sure you ask if there are any planes of the type you want ready to ship. McLean's Models - Brian is another guy who builds super planes. I have both a Vindicator, which I bought used, and an Extreme, his new high-performance sloper and DS ship. Even though I got the Vindicator used, Brian was helpful when I had a few questions about it. His willingness to help was part of the reason I ordered the new Extreme from him. I also love the way it looks! Update: I got another Vindicator with the new Joe Wurts airfoil from Brian and a second Extreme. These are currently my favorite planes and Brian is always very helpful. Polecat Aero - I got the Xterminator here. Denny is very helpful. He has answered every question I had in a timely manner and expresses a genuine interest in my experience with the kit I got from him. I sent a couple dozen emails to him and they were all answered in less that 24 hours. There was a slight delay when I ordered as mine was one of the first complete kits he had put together, but he kept me informed and the wait was short. Hollyday Designs - I ordered a standard bungee for slope launching from Hollyday. Very friendly folks and the best launch rubber there is. Northeast Sailplane Products - I got the Eli 2 from NSP. I ordered my plane and it showed up a week later, easy as that. Greenfield News and Hobby - The most complete R/C shop in our area. Knowledgeable staff and if they do not have it they will get it. Mirko's Basement - I got a couple of planes Mirko was not flying. Great service and can't beat the price. Too bad they were one time deals! Radio Carbon Art - I have purchased several videos from Paul and they are all very well done. It is great to have something to watch when it is raining. Paul was always helpful. If you want a great deal go for 2 or more. He offers a good discount for ordering more that one video at a time. Reese Productions - You gotta have Lift Ticket! It is a great overview of soaring in general and the DS sutff is like a classroom on the screen. Dave shipped quickly and puts out an excellent product.
