Flight Log
Flying With Garwood

Not quite like I'm With Busey but still fun none the less!
Anyway, I had the opportunity to meet Dave Garwood, Andreas Mergner and a local from North Adams named John at the Mohawk Trail launch site in the Berkshires near North Adams, MA.
The site is about 800 feet above the valley floor and the lift was great. I only ended up flying the Predator Bee but that was probably OK owing to the postage stamp/tree line landing zone. Landings involved slowing up as much as possible and hammering into a bush. Seemed to work fine, most of the time!
Dave was flying his LEG Aircobra that looked great in the air and was tough enough for the none too gentle landing.
Andreas had one of his lighter Thorns going well.
I don't remember what John was flying but they were fast wings well suited to the landing zone.
