Russ's 60-inch Zipper
The Birdworks Zipper is a great flying plank style wing. It comes in both 48-inch and 60-inch varieties.

I've flown several Zipper's. The plane likes a pretty good blow and for some reason the best performing versions I have flown have been sheeted instead of bagged. Seems to like to fly at around 25 ounces or better for real speed fun. Steve's suggested 14 to 16 ounce wing loading is a real sweet spot for me.

Several Zipper pilots show up for our get togethers in South Dakota and when we get 20 mph on the big hill these things are a blast! The more wind the more they seem to like it. Don't bother trying to fly the Zipper slow. It likes to move, and fast!

Got my very own on the way from The Birdworks. I'll let you know how it goes!
