Since we can't be at the slope all the time, even though we'd like to be, this section is dedicated to the review and reporting on other, non slope related radio control toys we get our hands on as well as radio control fun venues like rc car racing tracks and rc power fields we visit.

With winter already here in Southeastern Wisconsin and me feeling a bit less adventurous in the cold weather for slope flying I decided to devote some of the slopeflyer.com shop to an indoor rc race track for 1/28th scale cars like the Kyosho Mini-Z...

I admit it. I have actually looked at slopes I fly at with Google Earth wondering if the satellite happened to catch me out there flying. Looks like someone actually was in England. Power field but still the first probable instance of a person flying an RC plane I've seen so far. more...

I saw one of the xTreme Micro Copters at my LHS while picking up some
parts for one of my slopers and had to have it. They never would have
gotten me if they didn't have a demo version sitting on the counter
though.
TufFlight Stingray EDF Park Jet

I first saw, and flew, Joe Chovan's TufFlight Stingray at the Midwest Slope Challenge. It was a kick! I had to have one for those days around Wisconsin that seem all too common lately, no slope days. the Stingray is just the ticket to get out for some small field fun.
