What is in last place on your list of favorite R/C sailplane hobby things? Mine is a mid-air. This event can spoil your day, for sure. So what do you think of pilots who deliberately try to have mid-airs? Crazy, wouldn't you say? Well I finally visited Chickies Rock, and that's just what they do there. It's called "combat," and they try to knock each other out of the sky.

Based on no scientific evidence that I know of, but one can only hope this is true, at least it helps you justify the time and money spent on your hobby.
