Last trip out was the first time to SD in several trips that I damaged one of my favorite planes so I feel pretty lucky, but there is still a twinge of pain to see my current favorite plane get damaged.

Hitec Focus III Elevator Modification

There is a good article on the Birdworks site about how to tone down the
elevator channel on your Focus III radio. This is very useful when using this
radio for a flying wing because while the Focus has a mix for elevons,
the standard amount of elevator travel is far too much for flying wing
configurations. You either need to be careful on the stick or do this

Kevlar Leading Edge for Bagged Wings

Durable and easily repairable, Kevlar is a great way to do the leading edges on foam cores when vacuum bagging wings for your sloper.
