New York Slope Site: Sterling Bluffs on Lake Ontario
Posted by Dave Garwood on May 8, 2008, 21:39
We like water out in front of our slope sites because without upwind turbulence-makers, we fly in smoother air. One such site available in upstate central New York is Sterling Bluffs in Sterling Park, located on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario, northwest of Syracuse and south of Oswego.

Posted by David B on Mar 18, 2008, 22:19
Berry Pasture Trail has long been a popular hiking trail leading to Burton Peak on Temple Mountain in Sharon, NH. A timber harvest was completed during the summer of 2007 which provides great views of Mount Monadnock and some awesome soaring when winds are blowing from the southwest.

The Dynamic's First Flight in Florida
Posted by Mirko Bodul on Dec 31, 2007, 21:26
Mirko sent in this report on slope soaring in Florida the 30 foot dunes at Merrit Island located about 10 miles north of Cape Canaveral. If you look closely at the photos you will see the gantries in the background for shuttle launches!
