The Story of the 200mph Lead
Posted by Greg Smith on Feb 16, 2004, 23:06

I took the picture of the guy above at the CART race while I was in the pits at the Milwaukee Mile. He is Paul Tracy's tire man. Paul had just been in for a pit stop and this wheel just came off his car about mid-way through the race. The tire man removes the lead balancing weight while the rim is still warm because it makes it easer to get the weight off so I hung around and grabbed a few pieces.

A very few pieces of this speed tested lead have been given to some of the world's fastest DS pilots in the hopes that it will help them achieve even more success. I thought these special pieces of lead might help since they have already been tested at over 200mph, it seemed like a good luck charm for DS! Hope it helps.

I know what you are thinking, I am not a Paul Tracy fan, no big deal, this actually could have been from Patrick Carpentier's car since he pitted at the same time!
